Day 05: Chail – KasauliAfter the Anglo-Gurkha war in 1816, Kasauli was one of the first cantonments to be set up in these hills. Also, it attracted Edward Dyre to set up his brewery in Kasauli and introduced the first beer in India called Lion Beer. A walk through the cantonment brings you back to the Raj era. Day 06: Kasauli - ChandigarhAfter breakfast, drive to this new modern city of free India that was established after the Independence. The effects of the designs of the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier can be seen everywhere in Chandigarh. We are going to stay with Dan Dhanoa, a villain from Bollywood. After leaving Bollywood in the late nineties, Dan became a sailor and had ample chances to travel across the world. Wherever he went he collected artifacts and placed them in his house which he has named Anchorage42. Interaction with Dan is subject to his availability in Chandigarh.
